Salt spray tests are among the most complex tests in environment simulation. What is corrosion and what influences it? How does a salt spray test work and how are the results comparable?

Following an introduction to the subject of corrosion, we explain on the basis of ISO 9227 how a salt spray chamber works and how a test is carried out in a standard-compliant way. We work in a practice-oriented way and operate salt spray chambers in small groups.
